Young Scientist and Best Poster AwardsAt TMBW-2014 over 40 young scientists are nominated for the Award "Turbulent Mixing and Beyond for Youth." The Award "Turbulent Mixing and Beyond for Youth," TMB4U, is issued to two young researcher for recognition of their scientific contribution to the field of Turbulent Mixing and Beyond. TMB4U is issued upon consideration by the members of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the contributed presentations at TMBW-2014, which are performed by eligible young scientists. The nominees are graduate students and researchers at early stages of their carrier, who made a principal contribution to the work presented. The selection is made on the basis of - scientific merit and novelty of the results - quality criteria, including rigor and connection to observations for theoretical and mathematical works; reliability and repeatability of experimental results for experimental works; verification and validation of numerical models for numerical works; applicability for TMB-related problems for works in statistics and data analysis. TMB4U consists of a financial part and a certificate citing the contribution made by the recipient. TMB4U has no restrictions on a candidate citizenship, country of residence, and gender. The Best Poster Award is issued for a best poster presentation at TMBW-2014. The selection is made on the basis of scientific merit and the quality of the presentation. The Best Poster Award consists of a financial part and a certificate citing the contribution made by the recepients. The Best Poster Award has no restriction on a candidate citizenship, country of residence, and gender. |
